ECO Nieborów is a friendly object situated on the edge of Bolimów Landscape Park, less than half a mile of an aristocratic residence located in the village of Nieborów in Poland - Radziwiłł Palace. ECO Nieborów provides its guests an intimate atmosphere (the whole area is intentionally and completely non-monitored). Hotel’s policy assumes hosting only one group.
The architectural concept of the resort is based on XIX century – an manor house of Grabski family in Borów, in Łowicz district, where Władysław Grabski, prime and finance minister of the II Republic of Poland, the author of significant monetary reform in Poland, was born. The resort consists of two buildings – the classical one with triangular tympanum, covered with attic and red ceramic roofing tile. The second building has been raised in place where, in architectural concept, outhouse was situated.
The hotel’s interiors provide aesthetic consistency with ambience of the 19-th century Manor House. The decoration refers to the life and output of the most famous painter born on the premises of the former Księstwo Łowickie (lat. Ducatus Loviciensis) – Józef Chełmoński’s.
Art historian - Maciej Masłowski wrote about him:
“...there is something magical in this, a spell, it is the charm thrown by a real predator on the great hunt of nature ...”
On the hotel walls our Guests can look up to photos coming from the artist’s family collection and reprinted works from Chełmoński’s sketchbook. The presented life and artistic creation of the artist intensifies idyllic atmosphere, the ambience of the region.
