BMH Bolesław Mostowski received a grant from the European Union for the project entitled "Utilizing the endogenous potential of the Bzura River Valley and the Bolimów Landscape Park by expanding the tourist infrastructure of the ECO NIEBORÓW facility in order to expand the offer with new tourist services."
The aim of the project is to expand the tourist offer of the ECO NIEBORÓW facility, including the inclusion of elements of environmental education resulting from its location in the Bolimów Landscape Park.
The project involves expanding the existing infrastructure with an additional hotel facility with 14 rooms and a spa area, as well as enhancing the area surrounding the hotel with a swimming pond, infrastructure related to active tourism (a bicycle shelter), and a nature education zone – "Educational Hotel" for the wild inhabitants of the Bolimów Landscape Park, enabling nature observation and meetings with representatives of the Łódź Voivodeship Landscape Park Complex (Bolimów Landscape Park Branch), among others.
The project also includes the purchase of equipment for active tourism (electric bikes, bike trailers, sets of cross-country skis and roller skis). The new offer will allow ECO NIEBORÓW customers to diversify their leisure activities by utilizing the existing bicycle path infrastructure, and will also stimulate tourism outside the summer season.
The project also aims to improve the competencies of tourism industry employees. The Łódź Voivodeship Landscape Parks Complex has committed to conducting training for ECO NIEBORÓW employees, providing key information about the Bolimów Landscape Park and its wildlife.
ECO NIEBORÓW employees will be able to actively promote the benefits of this educational zone as a unique tourist attraction. Training is also planned for three hotel employees in customer service for those with special needs.
The project involves the construction of a new website compliant with WCAG 2.1 standards, specifically promoting new attractions: a nature education zone, a swimming pond, sports equipment rental, and a mini spa. The pages will contain substantive educational content related to the habitats located on the property (e.g., via QR codes).
The new tourist offer will be aimed at residents of the Łódź Voivodeship and tourists, with particular emphasis on families with children, school trips, winter break participants, summer camps, and day camps.
The project involves the creation of new tourist services, such as:
- rental of electric bikes and bike trailers,
- cross-country ski and roller ski rental,
- SPA offer available in the newly built hotel facility,
- swimming pond,
- a nature education zone enabling the observation of wild inhabitants of the Bolimów Landscape Park.
The project will result in the categorization of the hotel facility after expansion to three stars and the creation of a comprehensive tourist offer, taking into account the endogenous potential of the Bzura River Valley and Bolimów Landscape Park.
